Tips & TricksThese tips are focused on the stringing of your head and can drastically change your playing characteristics.
× If your stick is throwing downward, loosen your lowest shooting string.
× If the ball is hitting off of the plastic on your head and you don't like it, then tighten your highest shooting string.
× If your pocket does not have enough hold, then install a "V" shooting string to give the ball a channel through which it can pass.
× If the end of a string beings to fray, then burn (or ask your parents for help) that end so that the pocket will not deteriorate.
× 6-Diamond and Monster Mesh pockets are the most difficult to maintain. Only experienced players or stringers should utilize these types.
× More often than not, if your stick is not performing as you expect, then fundamentals are to blame. This about your mechanics first, then correct anything with your stick as a secondary option.
